This article is specifically aimed at Merchants who wish to enable our integration with SMSBump.
We have a testing feature built into the SMS configuration settings that you can use to check the content of your Birthday SMS message.
Go to the Settings > SMS Campaign > Email/SMS Campaign view within the Happy Birthday app and scroll to the bottom of the configuration page.
You should see a button labelled Send Test SMS:
Click on the Send Test SMS button and you'll be presented with the following pop-up:
Enter your own mobile number, making sure to use the correct country code and number format for international messaging and enter your first name and last name if you've used those merge tags to personalize your SMS message.
Click on the Send test button.
All being well, you should see the following screen:
The test Birthday SMS message should then follow shortly afterwards.
The discount page link contained within the test SMS message will not be a live discount link, it will only lead to a dead page. The real Birthday SMS message will contain a live discount page link.
